The Tax Programme of the OECD Korea Policy Centre (KPC) and OECD co-organized the 108th OECD Tax Seminar on June 25-30, 2018 at the Glad Hotel in Seoul, Korea.

Based on the OECD’s International VAT Guidelines, the seminar discussed key issues such as the role and function of VAT, effective implementation measures through the sharing of advanced policy experiences, and the need to strengthen cooperation among countries to minimize international disputes.

Approximately 40 participants, including tax officials from OECD member countries and non-member countries, attended the seminar. Speakers included Mr. Stephane Buydens (OECD), Mr. Jordi Sol (IBFD), Ms. Virginia Gogan (Australia), and Ms. Guri Stange Lystad (Norway).
