In line with the expansion of the digital economy, the seminar provided lectures on the internationally agreed method of charging and collecting VAT on digital transactions.
The international tax seminar, which was held online, was attended by about 100 tax officials from 23 non-OECD countries. OECD trainers included Mr. Vegard Holmedahl (OECD), Mr. Thomas Ecker (OECD), Mr. Andrea Sollecito (OECD), Ms. Maria Saccomanni (OECD), Mr. Martin Wright (UK), Ms. Suriyanti Esa (Malaysia), and Mr. Bruno Farinha (ADB).
