The Tax Programme of the OECD Korea Policy Centre (KPC) hosted Knowledge Exchange Training Programme (KETP) for officials from the General Department of Taxation, Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on August 20 to 22, 2019.

The lecturers for the seminar included officials with extensive experience from Korea National Tax Service in the transfer pricing tax system and experts from the private sector. The main content of the seminar included lectures on theory of the transfer pricing taxation, tax investigation techniques and experiences, and an overview of the VAT system and the E-Tax Administration System in the digital economy.

The seminar was attended by 47 officials from the General Department of Taxation, Mongolia, and various experts from Korea including Mr. Deokwon Seo, Mr. Jeongjung Kim, and Mr. Ilwhan Choi participated in the seminar.
