The Tax Programme of the OECD Korea Policy Centre (KPC) hosted Knowledge Exchange Training Programme (KETP) for international tax officers from the General Department of Taxation, Mongolia. It was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, for three days (August 21-23, 2018).
The programme was mainly on the recent issues on international taxation (minimum standards). The main contents of the seminar included a presentation and discussion on the OECD/G20 BEPS Project minimum standards and major tax policy issues in Korea and Mongolia. The status of the OECD/G20 BEPS project and changes in the international taxation environment were introduced, and presentations and policy discussions on major tax policy issues in Korea and Mongolia were conducted.
The programme was led by Mr. Jaemok Lee (Kim&Jang), Sewha Lee (Anjin), Sujin Lee (IBFD), and was attended by 28 tax officials from the General Department of Taxation, Mongolia.
